Think In Control - Step 1

Step 1:

Accepting things we can't change are very hard for us humans.  It is hard because most of us want a sense of control in our lives.  A lot of us need that feeling so when something like one of the NCF's come up, it can really damage a person's thoughts and life.  Now I'm not saying that if you experience a traumatic event or get depressed that you should totally ignore them and move on.  But I will tell you that it absolutely shouldn't collapse everything around you so that you can never get over it and move on.  Thinking the right way and having good habits will give you strength when anytime disrupting comes up in your life.

    THINKING:

Simple right? Thinking is something we are masters at doing.  Some are masters at positive thinking but most are masters at negative thinking.  Ask yourself this question and be honest; How many times a day do you think about something bad or negative?  Here's another; How many times a day do you say negative things and/or express negative emotion?
If you are honest with yourself and really think about it, I bet you do both on a consistent basis.  The definition of consistent is as follows: (of a person, behavior, or process) Unchanging in achievement or effect over a period of time.  Meaning you are actually living and thinking a negative behavior most of your time.  You have programmed yourself to feel a certain way about the world almost always.  What does this do?  This will certainly put your mind in a negative state of thinking when approaching most situations, whether you know it or not.
For some reason, we as a society tend to focus and find negativity in everything around us, including ourselves.  Not only do we focus and find it, we love to really dive into every little piece of information that connects to that negativity.  Here's an example: next time you turn on the T.V or browse the newspaper (or internet), count all of the negative filled stories that are out there.  I bet there are about ten times negative filled stories than there are good ones.  The media giants all know what we customers want and they give it to us.  This is just fine when it comes to learning about new things or warnings but where it is not okay is that we tend to fine tune our subconscious the same way.  Most of us will slowly but surely find the bad more often than good.  What I want to good it to help you understand the habits behind habits.  I believe that once you understand this, you can begin to lead a life of fulfillment, prosperity, and happiness.
